materials & techniques
All my pieces are made by hand in my studio. Since my jewelry is hand-made, each piece is an original and bears its own unique “fingerprint.” Therefore, quantities of each item are limited.
materials
Silver: I mainly work in sterling silver, which I usually oxidize and complete with a satin finish. Silver will naturally tarnish when exposed to air, so storing in an airtight container or ziploc bag, or using tarnish strips work great. To maintain the matte finish, you can use a very fine 0000 steel wool.
Pearls: are organic gemstones that are vulnerable to acid, alkaline and extremes of humidity. To preserve your pearls' radiance, avoid letting them come into contact with cosmetics, hairspray, or perfume. Always put on your jewelry as a final touch, after applying make-up and styling your hair.
Semi-precious & precious stones: should be carefully cleaned with a soft cotton cloth. Harsh, abrasive cleaners will scratch these precious stones, creating flaws that remove their lustre. Care should also be taken to avoid contact with make-up, perfume, hairspray and long exposure to water.
techniques
After studying business management, finance and accounting in college, I fell in love with metal. I celebrate the possibilities of working with my hands directly with the material. I use various techniques and processes to manipulate and enhance the metal, which can form a connection between creator and wearer. It is thrilling to create a jewelry art piece that celebrates & inspires the wearer.
custom orders
I throughly enjoy working with clients on custom orders. Jewelry has the power to create a connection, and it is my greatest pleasure to collaborate on a piece. It can be as simple as a chain length, stone selection or finish on the piece and as extensive as a custom design and/or a custom stamped piece. Please contact me with your special requests. Please allow 4 to 6 weeks for custom orders.
repairs
I stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of my jewelry. If jewelry purchased within a year based on normal usage requires a repair, please email me to schedule the repair. If charges apply, I will notify you before I begin the repair.
returns
Since my jewelry is made with care and attention to detail, I hope you will be very happy with your purchase. If, however, you are not entirely satisfied, please contact me within 7 days to schedule a return. Custom orders are not returnable
